 The program consists of the following areas and requires that you participate actively since this is your area of expertise and mandates that you provide the specific inputs to make it viable and successful. 

NOTE: The services and functions outlined below are just that -an outline. Your program will be custom tailored to your specific needs and time frames.

Mike will handle much of the work personally but there are certain parts that require that you do the work, specify the tasks, and/or supervise the actions. In these cases, I’ll show you how, monitor and follow up on your progress.

The program, as outlined, will take approximately three-months and includes a set of CD ROM’s, DVDs and Books, valued at $340.00, that the speaker will need to further his or her career.

 Details of the program 

Note: The one thing that the program does NOT include is actual video taping and editing of either audio or video material. If it is determined that this is a necessary component of the program, he will supply you with a separate quotation on a task-by-task basis.

A comprehensive analysis of what your topic and target market REALLY are – not what you think or would like them to be.

The best efforts will be made when we precisely target the market you want to penetrate.

 

This task will involve the accurate definition of who this market really is, which elements of the market have the money to pay for your services and are willing to spend it, and selection of the most effective marketing methods to penetrate the defined areas.

 

I’ll work with you to determine what problem(s) your service topic is most applicable for.

 

We’ll look at what industries or organizations are looking for solutions like the ones that your topics provide

 

We’ll select a target market that seems to make sense as a place where you’re most likely to get booked.

Recommendations and decisions about what the delivery mix of your information should be.

Since money is made through a combination of direct fees, sales of products, and consulting assignments, the program needs to define which of these elements will be developed and offered.

 

To generate maximum revenues, a five-point program needs to be created. This will accurately define the five-point program based on client needs and make recommendations for products and services to adequately fill those needs.

I’ll work with you to define a comprehensive list of the things to be offered so that you’ll have maximum flexibility in offering your knowledge and services to the selected client base.

An analysis, review and recommendations as to where to obtain accurate targeted lists of potential clients.

Obviously, we need to contact the targeted corporations and organizations to offer the services that are developed. This will involve the research into where to obtain those lists.

I’ll take your inputs, do research and make recommendations. ** Note – You will be required pay for any lists, discs, etc. that are obtained.

Development of a step-by-step marketing plan to introduce you and your programs to your target market.

Based on a variety of factors such as your time availability, budgets, and more importantly, the methods that are selected as being the most effective for reaching the target market, a step-by-step marketing plan will be developed.

 

 

I’ll create a time-line plan that we’ll use to plan and schedule your efforts.

 

You’ll need to review the plan and approve the commitments.

Follow up, review, and recommendations to modify your marketing mix as needed.

Since this will become a blueprint for the future, it’s important that all parties involved agree on the tasks, timing and budgets. This review will solidify the plans and goals of the project.

I’ll provide follow up for your efforts during the active life of this contract cycle to help keep you on schedule.

Development of a time/money budget for marketing your programs.

The complete plan will be charted on a time line with budgetary estimates for each task for accurate tracking fiscal progress and time commitments can be reviewed without difficulty.

I’ll work with you to establish a budget that you’ll have to commit to in order to make the program work the way we lay it out.

Implementation of the marketing program

Based on what is decided and planned, you, supported by sub-contract functions such as graphic arts designers, printers, web designers, etc. will be implemented.

I’ll provide you with feedback on your efforts but these are the things that you’ll have to do for yourself.

Literature and promotional material review

As literature and promotional material are created, it will need to be reviewed to make sure that its focus is appropriate for the markets targeted and that it accurately and completely captivates the target audience. Reviews, revisions, and even complete makeovers may be required to make sure that it’s doing what it’s supposed to.

Either you or someone that you sub-contract with will need to create your literature and marketing materials.

 

I’ll supply my inputs and feedback based on the markets we’re targeting.

 

I’ll supply you with resources for the creation and printing of the material.

Analysis and development of a “Flexible Fee Schedule” and a “Contract For Services”

This project is about making money so the creation of a fee schedule for goods and services becomes the pivotal point of the exercise.

 

To ensure that the pricing is structured to fit the budgetary abilities of the clients, a complete fee schedule must be developed with decisions made regarding “flexibility” in pricing, goods, and services to accommodate the lower budget firms so they can be used to fill the calendar with profit generating activities.

We’ll determine what speaking, training, books, tapes, consulting services, etc. you’ll want to offer.

 

I’ll create a price sheet in Word® for Windows® (with both wholesale and retail pricing if necessary) to cover the items you want to offer.

 

We’ll determine what speaking, training, and/or consulting services you plan to offer.

 

I’ll create a contract in Word® for Windows® that you can customize and use for your clients.

Audio and video assistance if appropriate

The program may include the development of audio and video products for both promotion and salable products. Guidance will be required to make sure that what is created is what is absolutely needed to serve the needs of the targeted population. Although this will probably be a sub-contract effort, planning and review will make the difference between a product and a great product.

I’ll support your efforts with suggestions and guidelines for the products.

 

You’ll have to script and shoot record the products themselves.

Web site analysis and linking recommendations

A web site establishes an easy to reach presence. Since a web site is the equivalent of a book, it becomes essential that the book be precisely defined and outlined so that the visitors to the site have access to the most pertinent information for their needs

 

 

We’ll decide on what you’ll need for a web site to support your marketing efforts

 

I’ll outline the block diagram and define the contents

 

If necessary, I’ll supply you with a 30 day free demo set of Microsoft® FrontPage® software to create the site

 

I’ll supply you with a set of resources for obtaining inexpensive domain names, hosting, and additional resources for making your web site an asset.

In-depth support on developing products

Your services need to be implemented and delivered through a combination of ILT (instructor led training), video, audio, and other methods.  This will involve defining the training and/or analysis need, deciding on the most appropriate method for delivering the content, and recommendations on the most efficient and effective way to create the product.

I’ll supply you with feedback and recommendations as to what will be the best mix of goods and services to offer.

Follow up will by telephone, fax, and e-mail

During the project it is imperative that the coordination and supervision of all the tasks be monitored and that everybody involved be kept informed of the progress, problems, and successes.

If it appears to be appropriate, I’ll assist you in the creation of an e-mail group so that all parties are notified of all events and support on an individual and group basis as necessary to make sure that what is planned gets accomplished.

 

·        The program consists of monthly meetings, weekly teleconferencing, and e-mail coaching as needed, and includes tasks and assignments that you will need to complete in order to assure your complete success.

 ·        I’ll throw in an UNLIMITED number of 10 minute consultations and as much e-mail assistance as you can write for the duration of the program. I’ll supply you with all of the forms, materials, and information you’ll need to do your homework and be successful.

·     This includes everything from question and answer sheets that you have to complete so we get an accurate description of what you want to do and where you want to go plus contracts, agreements, needs analysis sheets, and virtually everything you’ll need, except your commitment, to put you in business successfully.

Since the program involves a variety of marketing efforts and products, here’s a bonus: I’ll throw in any three (3) of the following elements as a part of the program. If you want more than three, I’ll provide you with a separate quotation for those efforts.

1.         We’ll work out the topic, focus, and layout requirements for a mini-Tips booklet.

2.         I’ll supply you with a template so you can cut and paste your material into the outline and make it camera ready for printing

3.         I’ll supply you with the resources for getting it printed at about 55 cents each.

Outline for a workbook

  1. We’ll work out your topic for a workbook
  2. We’ll work out a detailed chapter and resource format for the content
  3. I’ll supply you with resources for creating the cover, obtaining the ISBN number, and printing the workbook for minimum prices

Postcard For Rubber Chicken Circuit

  1. I’ll supply you with a video tape called “Marketing With Postcards” that explains the various uses for postcards
  2. We’ll decide on what topic you want to propose to the rubber chicken circuit
  3. We’ll work out the advertising copy and graphics for the postcard
  4. I’ll supply you with a list of Rubber Chicken organizations in the Southern California area that you can mail the postcard to in order to get bookings
  5. I’ll supply you with low cost resources for the layout and printing of the postcards

Bureau Mailing Package

  1. We’ll look at what you need for a package of material for introducing you and your speaking topic to the bureaus
  2. I’ll supply you with a list (on disk) of the speaker’s bureaus in the United States so you can mail your package to them.

  1. We’ll determine which of your programs are suitable for offering as a seminar at the colleges, universities, and adult schools
  2. We’ll outline a package of materials for you to complete as a submission package for the schools
  3. I’ll supply you with a list (on disk) of the colleges and universities in California where you can submit your materials
