manufacturing.
Responsible for planning, implementation, and administration of all new
product, technology, and manufacturing implementation including R & D,
engineering, quality control, and both domestic and off- shore
manufacturing.
Duties included marketing and advertising support, trade show
representation, and both technical and corporate liaison for prime
accounts.
1976 TO 1979: VP ENGINEERING
NOTIFIER CORPORATION,
TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA
Member of corporate managerial staff with responsibilities for R & D,
manufacturing & test engineering, quality assurance, quality control,
and customer service.
Responsible for the total administration of all engineering, test, and
quality control functions associated with consumer and commercial smoke
detection systems, fire alarms, burglar alarms, and related peripheral
equipment.
Charged with new product research, costing, development, writing, and
presentation of OEM and new product proposals for equipment and systems.
1972 TO 1976: PROGRAM MANAGER,
BRUNSWICK CORPORATION
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA
Accountable for marketing, proposal, contract negotiations, development,
manufacture, and test of simulation systems, scoring systems, and
related support items, including all program management, administrative
functions, and cost control activities.
Project and training manager for the REDEYE launch simulator, STINGER
launch simulator, LAROSS, WISS, and VOSS computer optical bomb scoring
systems, along with related targeting and training devices.
